Product Description: Get an inside look at the psyche of Two-Face, a Batman foe with multiple personalities!
A rash of brutal murders is plaguing Gotham City, and the possible suspect has just escaped from Arkham Asylum! Two-Face is free, and the horror has only just begun. With the aid of a mad doctor, Two-Face will attempt to control his "Jekyll and Hyde" syndrome once and for all . . . even if it means experimenting on everyone in Gotham -- including the Batman! This book delves into the split personality of the popular Batman villain Two-Face, whose scarred face represents the two halves of his shattered psyche.

Something very strange is going on, something horrible and frightening beyond belief. Something is turning normal people into seemingly conscience-less murderers. And when Two-Face escapes from Arkham Asylum, Batman quickly realizes that he is more than a little involved. A scientist has created a new formula which allows the release of the recipient's dark side, and Two-Face wants to test it on a very special guinea pig - in fact, a guinea bat!

It is stories like these where the Dark Knight indeed earns his foreboding appellation, with extreme emphasis on the dark side. For people who prefer lighter tales, this may not be for them. This was one of the four trade paperback books(I can only remember four at the moment) that DC put out starring Two-Face since he had a role in the Dark Knight movie. The other three books were a reprint of Batman: Faces, a Batman vs. Two-Face book, and a reprint of Robin: Year One which starred Two-Face as well. DC also put out a Two-Face: Year One two part story(TWO parts for Two-Face, LOL). Basically this story was about Two-Face trying to prove every person has two sides. He also wanted to merge ... Ugg. Groan. Haven't we read these stories before? Nothing new here. The art is good but then a few issues later it's not. I hate when comics are a series and the artist gets switched out after a couple issues. The story is the same ol' same ol. Two Face breaks out of prison and comes up with the dumbest way to take over Gotham. Is he putting chemicals in the water? Hrrm. Many people are dying and we're supposed to figure out the mystery with Batman guiding us through the streets of Gotham. Throw in a some ... Read More
