Mr. Sale, whose profile has been lifted by his work on NBC's "Heroes," is probably best known for his work with Jeph Loeb on comic's big guns such as Batman, Superman and Spider-Man. This book is the total package! Fun, informative, honest, and high-quality. A great exploration of an artist at the top of his game and his journey there. If you are a fan of Tim Sale's work on Batman or on Daredevil or just on the Heroes TV show, this book is for you!

I already owned the Active Images first edition hc.
This is bigger in trim format, larger in contents (Heroes, Catwoman pieces of art and so on...) and it's all about this atypical great (if you love him) artist. 4 stars instead of 5 only because respect to the first edition the aditional content are not a lot. But if you buy it for the first time, this goes for 5 full stars in my opinion (a lot of sketches and pinups, and useful notes and informations).
