In 1982, there were few groups as out of phase as CSN. Their supergroup status once lionized in the late '60s and early '70s had turned into liability. Viewed as fossils by the emerging MTV generation, they steadfastly stood with their heartfelt idealistic politics on their sleeve. Produced by El Lay producer extraordinaire Craig Doerge (known mostly for adding synthesizer to the work of Jackson Browne among others) and Stanley Johnson, Daylight Again features several noteworthy songs. "Wasted on the Way," "Southern Cross," and "Into the Darkness" are among the more substantial contributions from these musicians struggling to find their place in a world clearly getting away from them. --Rob O'Connor
Album Description:
One of the most enduring musical partnerships of our time, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Crosby, Stills & Nash are revered for their peerless vocal harmonies, inspired songwriting and musical virtuosity. When the trio first sang together at a friend's Laurel Canyon house in 1968, their uncanny harmonic convergence was immediately apparent, and CSN took shape. Each member came to the new venture from other high-profile bands-Crosby from the Byrds, Stills from Buffalo Springfield, and Nash from the Hollies-and together, they formed that rarest of musical entities, a "supergroup" that lived up to its billing. CSN's 1969 self-titled debut album is one of the true masterpieces of the rock 'n' roll canon, and 1982's Daylight Again is a brilliant portrait of their musical evolution. Still touring and recording together, CSN is an American treasure.

Crosby, Stills, and Nash did a wonderful job. Most of song are slow, but they have a message with each song and you can hear each instruments. They did an excellant job.

yes - seeing David sweating bullets due his drug abuse is very disconcerting and it is obvious that Stills and Nash have to carry the day and limit David's contributions (how little they may be)...watch the CSN Solo Acoustic Concert from the early 90's and what a relief and a joy it is to see and hear Crosby back among the living and performing at a level not seen since the late 60's and early 70's heyday of the boys ...I saw CSN last summer at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis and David was the ...
