Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The one flaw is the most redeeming
What did I mean by that exactly? I meant the reverb itself. Yes, the vocalist does use it all throughout the cd, and pretty much hangs onto every sentence...but, given the atmosphere of the music itself, it actually works out quite well. It might take a bit to get used to, and you may not actually like it on the first listen...but listen to...at least "Iceboat" "Inside The Memories" and their awesome remake of Duran Duran's song "Come Undone," and soon enough you may understand what I mean. Funny ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - GREAT GROOVES! Vocals not as bad as most of these reviews say
Musically this album is GREAT! Soft to heavy, very catchy, nice builds. Quite pleasing. Vocally, i don't see what the the hudge disappoinment is. The fact that it's not cookie monster growl or Godsmack yarls was quite refreshing. They are clean, atmospheric, turning to the very occasional growl-yell. After awhile it does start to sound a bit monotone, but nothing like the atrocities spokens here. As a BONUS there is a great eighties remake on here. I used to think Disturbed did the best eighties ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - FEAR THE VOCALS
Just another band tarnished by the vocals. The music deserves 4 stars. They are great at setting moods and creating good riffs, but the vocals are terrible. The singer has one gear. In every song he aimlessly wanders with ridiculous amounts of reverb and delay. With a singer, they could have something.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - MASTERPIECE
Fear the Clown is a very talented band. They play with just three people which makes it feel even better. The energy in the album is amazing and the vocals fit perfect with the beats. It can turn from melodic to heavy in the blink of an eye. Clearly a band to keep your eye on.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - They need more time
Not bad, but the singer needs some help. He wrecks what ever chance this cd had. He can seem to move onto the next word. He is always hanging on his songs. The music is great. If they would change there singer it would be a great album but I can't stand someone that takes a minute just to sing the word "today".
