The songs on this album have a kinda of catchie rift......it doesnt matter what kind of music you like.....you will like this album.....Capitol eye is probably one of the best bands that have come out of long beach besides sublime......THe cover of the cd might make them look like a joke.....but the music is vicious.....

If you're sick of played-out unoriginal rap/rock then this is the cure. I hate rap/metal with a passion, however I love rap/hip-hop and metal/rock as seperate entities. Every Once in awhile someone gets it's right. Capitol Eye did just that. It's smart, oringinal, and very damn good. Capitol Eye smacks all the genre clones square in the face with this underrated gem in a dead genre.

The lyrics and music flow together nicely. Its music you can chill to at a party. It has a good bounce.

What will probally strike you hardes about Capitol Eye is there diverse array of influences. Just take a look at some of the groups they've played with: KRS-One, Limp Bizkit, Pennywise, Method Man, Long Beach Dub Allstars, and more. Capitol Eye takes from Jazz, Hip Hop, Punk, and other genres. I-man's lyrics flow like poetry, adding to this already great CD. No matter what you listen to, I have a feeling you'll enjoy this.
