a friend of mine gave me a copy of a few of these songs back a couple of years ago. I was kinda familiar with Caught in the Sun and thought it was a pretty cool song. The power of the disc alone hinges on one stand-out track on this album though, and that song to me is 1000 Times. I love this song and think it's one of the best melodic rock songs I've heard in a long time. I've listened to about 7 or 8 cuts off the album and think the whole thing is solid though. I really don't ever think this ... Read More

I have to admit, I do really like a few songs off this cd. Course Of Nature is another one of those good unknown bands that probably should have sold more records if they would have been marketed better. This album sparked my interesest in the band about 2 years ago and when i went to look up the band to see if they were gonna do some new stuff i had found out that from what i read the drummer is gone and they are struggling in the recording and that there might not be another album... :(

I first heard about Course of Nature when a friend of mine recommended Wall of Shame. I then acquired their debut album Superkala in 2002. Three or four years later, it's still one of my favorite cds. The songs range from rough hard dock (Wall of Shame) to soft, violin accompanied ballads (Caught in the Sun) to the jazzy After the Fall.
Caught of Nature is:
Mark Wilkerson -- Lead vocals, rhythm guitar.
Fish -- Lead guitar, bass.
Ricky Shelton -- Drums, ... Read More
