Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
When you come up with the most-played radio hit of the year, there is no need to wrack your brains for a follow-up. Lifehouse, who earned such a distinction with 2001's highly addictive "Hanging by a Moment," shrewdly stick to the emotional guitar-rock palette of that breakthrough single for most of their second album. "I wouldn't change a thing," frontman Jason Wade declares on the searing "Spin," and the band follows through on powerful, life-affirming tracks such as "Wash" and "Take Me Away." Produced by Ron Aniello (Days of the New), mixed by Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, U2), and written primarily between tours, this is the kind of ambitious and endearing album that suggests its makers won't settle for anything less than global domination. --Aidin Vazari

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - almost as good as the first
This was almost as good as their first album. Several of the songs sounded a little darker, Maybe a bit on the "negative" side, but I still liked it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 'Stanley' Climbs to The Top
After the unprecedented success of "Hanging By A Moment," Lifehouse took the genre they inevitably bore and ran with it. The result is a follow-up forever foreshadowed by the success of its predecessor, but arguably tops it. Taking a heavy-dose from the grunge genre, Lifehouse all but nixes any acoustic or poppy elements from their sound, as it all takes a very raw, rough, but rockin' turn instead. I personally love every moment of it, as it's on the edge, and it's almost one long consistent jam ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - bad sales dont equal bad album
Sadly even the very band thought that this album was a bad move. Contrary to some of their fans and even the band itself this album was actually very good. The only problem was the lack of radio friendly songs or anything like Hanging By A Moment. But with that said this album did what it was supposed to do and it was to show maturity and a different sound.

1. Spin-Very good song, only thing I don't like is the ending but for some fans they may actually enjoy it. That or it could have ... Read More
