Bosch LTC0435-28W Dinion Color Camera with Vari-focal Lens and Mount LTC0435-28W Surveillance & Network Cameras
If you are in the market for a high-quality CCTV surveillance camera, then the Bosch LTC 0435-28W Dinion Color Camera is for you. The LTC 0435-28W is an easy-to-install color camera with superb sensitivity and a convenient feature set, making it perfect for indoor/outdoor and low-light applications, such as car park, industrial and commercial building, or fence and gate surveillance.
This color camera utilizes a 0.33-inch CCD (charge-coupled device) sensor, with 510-horizontal by 494-vertical active picture elements and a 1/60 to 1/150,000/sec shutter speed, according to the EIA (Electronic Industrial Alliance) standard. This produces a resolution of 330 TVL (TV-lines) with a S/N (signal to noise) ratio of 50 dB standard and 21 dB maximum for the AGC (Automatic Gain Control). The LTC 0435-28W comes with a standard C or CS-mount DC-iris lens with a range from 2.8 to 12 millimeters. This provides you with a 4.3x zoom and a light sensitivity of 0.4 Lux to achieve a minimal usable picture, and 1.6 Lux to achieve full video. Additional features such as auto-black, auto-tracking white balance, backlight compensation, and aperture correction provides high-quality pictures. Powered by either DC or AC power supplies, this camera can operate in temperatures from -20 to 50-degrees Celsius.
The LTC 0435-28W is a reliable and economical addition to any monitoring system. Designed to be used indoors or outdoors, the LTC 0435-28W comes with an auto-recognition wizard to make it easy to use with special or existing lenses. Easy installation, digital signal processing, on-screen display and superior picture quality make this camera a great choice for both the first-time and the professional user. Users should note, however, that the CCD sensor may become permanently damaged if exposed to long hours of direct sunlight or halogen light.
- Sensitivity: down to 0.4 Lux for usable picture and 1.6 Lux for full video
- Horizontal resolution: 330 TVL
- S/N ratio: 50 dB regularly; 21 dB maximum for AGC
- Zoom: up to 4.3x optical
- Dimensions: approximately 7 x 12 x 6 centimeters (W x D x H)
About Surveillance Camera Technical Features
Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The lower the Lux level, the better the camera's ability to work in low-light conditions. The camera's resolution should be greater than or equal to the resolution supported by the system's recorder or monitor. The S/N, or signal to noise ratio, is an important measure of a camera's quality. A poor camera, low-light conditions or poor wiring causes "noise" which consumes processing power and disk space. A camera with a wide dynamic range is ideal, especially for recording areas in which both indoor and outdoor light are present. CCD (charge-coupled device) sensors provide high-quality images that are less susceptible to noise. CMOS (complimentary metal-oxide semiconductor) sensors offer less image quality, but are usually more cost-effective and energy efficient.
