Product Description: Lois & Clark: The Complete First Season: Casting a fresh look on a timeless legend this exciting action-packed update of the DC Comics Superman captures the daring exploits of the mysterious visitor from another planet and brings the city of Metropolis to life. Originally aired in the 90's on ABC this humorously romantic action/adventure hour-long series puts a modern twist on the time-honored legendary superhero bringing to life the comic book characters Clark Kent (Dean Cain); his superhuman alter-ego Superman; and Lois Lane (Teri Hatcher) fiction's first lady of the press in the most unrequited romance of all time.Lois & Clark: The Complete Second Season : Building on the Superman myth this television series from the 1990s centers on the young adult life of Clark Kent (Dean Cain) in the modern-day city of Metropolis. While struggling to balance his Superman duties with his job working for the Daily Planet Kent meets and falls in love with fellow reporter Lois Lane. When news breaks of Superman's existence however Lane becomes smitten with the elusive superhero and unaware that Kent and Superman are the same person wards off Kent's romantic advances. Driven by this odd romantic triangle of sorts the show also focuses on life around the Daily Planet office and Superman's battles with a whole host of villains making it part-romance part-action/adventure. Every episode from the first season of the show is included here. The show had to make do with the special effects available at the time but many events could have been portrayed in less cheesy ways. My favorite episodes were the ones that included Tempus-diehard fans will know who I'm talking ... Read More

I never watched the Lois and Clark series when it was first on, and discovering these discs after watching a few years of Smallville is quite refreshing. Don't get me wrong; I LOVE Smallville, but Lois and Clark is definitely a happier sort of Superman series. While Smallville portrays the angst of growing up, and, indeed, growing up "different", the Superman of Lois and Clark is more about hope. About making a life and making a difference with that life. A little closer to the old "truth, justice ... Read More

For fans of Lois and Clark it was a trip down memory lane!!! i loved the fact that you can buy the 2 seasons together but i can't wait to get the next 2 seasons. if you are a fan of smallville and you were too young for lois and clark it is worth a look. (and Dean Cain is so cute as superman/clark aswell!)
