As a figure that came after Unicron, the most noticeable thing about Primus is his alt-mode looks much more like a planet. He isn't quite as imposing (nor as posable) a figure as Unicron but Primus is a fairly nifty figure in his own right. He is also quite fun to transform thanks to his Omega Lock gimmick although the down side is you'll have some trouble transforming him if you should lose the Omega Lock. Other than the Omega Lock transformations, Primus' gimmicks include firing chest missiles, ... Read More

Cybertron Primus, interesting piece of work for sure. The quality is there, a lot of little twists and tangles, and on first opening, for an 11 year old, one of the finest toys imaginable. Still, after a couple of years of Bionicles, perhaps not the lasting value of some previous, I noticed after about three days, this was on the floor, left alone in favour of more cerebral or classic toys, and at two weeks, it is now an afterthought, replaced by Calvin and Hobbes and Wizardology. I purchased this for my 5yr old son for Christmas. He has managed to break almost every other Transformer toy we have purchased for him so we were reluctant to invest the amount of money required to get Primus. We have also become quite frustrated at the difficulty involved in transforming even the $10 toys. So far he loves it! We've transformed it back and forth numerous times and he is quite durable. He moves with ease and after the first couple transformations it becomes a breeze. I anticipate ... Read More

awesome gift for the action figure collector that thinks he has it all. and it is HUGE compared to other transformers, as it should be. only downside was it came with a huge dent in the box and a little tear. the outside box was fine...damaged before shipping. just remember these are old toys...always a chance that the new ones are damaged.
again though well worth the purchase.

This is the perfect gift for my 6-year-old cousin. He loves playing with it. It transforms into at least three shapes. However, it takes a while before he can transform this big robot by himself. My concern is that he might lose the lock/key to transform it. Other than that, this is a great toy for a young Transformers fan.
