i bought this from toys r us and i must say i was very happy with it compared to some other similar toys that were there. this was bought for my sons 3rd b-day, this was his favorite present and he had no trouble learning how to play with the toy after i showed him how it worked. i wish they had different versions of this truck maybe a gas truck and an actual closed end trailer to store the cars! well any how after i read these posts about it being a bad toy i had to defend it because my son loves ... As the other reviewers stated, it's difficult for my 5 & 2-year-olds (& their Mommy) to figure out. Also, it's made of a very cheap, flimsy plastic -- which seems to be the norm for a lot of the Hot Wheels tracks, etc. Terrible truck with such great potential.

I agree with the previous posters, this has to be one of the worst designed toys from Hot Wheels yet! My son just received this for his 4th birthday and every button or feature on it has frustrated him (he's screaming at it as I'm writing this!). He was so excited when he got it, as he lives for anything Hot Wheels. Our 3 year old son just loves Hot Wheels cars. This transporter, however, is not one of his favorites. It's easy to see why. The back is difficult to lower, with it being controlled by a very small button on the bottom of the trailer. Who ever thought of this design for a child? It's also very easy for the child to accidentally get his fingers caught in the trailer when lowering it.
