Soundwave is available in two colors, the more traditional blue color scheme and also an all white color scheme in honor of the iPod. Soundwave's cassette door opens to reveal a Mini SD card reader (Mini SD card is not included). Batteries are requierd, but not included, we are currently not sure what size batteries are required. More information about this cool new MP3 player will be posted as we receive it. Pick your favorite color or save $15 and get both together in a set! The MP3 player will function in both cassette mode and robot mode. We expect this figure to be slightly smaller than the G1 Soundwave so it can fit comfortably in your pocket. The edges are slightly rounded and it has a smooth look overall in player mode.

I haven't had any problems and have been at least moderately entertained by the Soundwave MP3 player. The only downside is its lack of features, no USB, and lack of rechargable battery/battery pack dampen its functionality somewhat but not terribly a USB card reader and card was more than an acceptable price and it will take the 2gb card with seemingly no problems. This thing is freaking AWSOME!!!!
By far the coolest mp3 ever create(if you're a transformers fan at least).
Soundwave is faithfully recreated with only slight alterations, namely in size and the fact that the guns do not fire missals. Other than that, and the fact that tapes do not go in his chest but a mini sd card does which is soooo cool and a nice concept for the new digital age, Soundwave is as awesome as he was when the toy was first created in the mid to late 80s.
