I loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as a kid, and I remember thinking this movie was just so very cool. It contained a fair amount of camp, sure, but it was true enough to the storyline and, really, how many video game and comic book movies did we have at the time? (Besides Super Mario Bros., nothing really leaps to mind. Of course, we only had basic cable, so your mileage may have varied!)
