I remember watching this show every Sunday night as an 11 year old. It's great to see it on DVD. It made me learn more about history.

My husband watched this show when we were young and now we are sharing it with our three children. It can be hard to find a show that our 12 year old, 7 year old and 5 year old all like, but this is one of them!

This is one of my favorite television programs ever. I enjoyed it as a child of twelve and it taught me enough about history to motivate me to become a real history buff. It just makes learning--about the past--fun! It was taken off the air way too soon--there were so many potential adventures to be had.

I vaguely remember this show from my childhood. I was about ten when it came out. I *loved* it. Now my kids love it. I'm glad they put it on dvd. It's great for children. You won't have to worry about them seeing anything questionable and they might just learn a tidbit or two about history. Highly recommended.
