its a good buy for the price. the transformer is made out of the body aprts of the car with magnetic attachments - so remember to tell your kid not to drop it.

We received this as a gift for my 3 years old and he loves it. What others may complain about it, having the magnets, is what makes it great for smaller kids, because is really easy for them to assemble.
You do need to place them on a box or ziploc so you don't loose the pieces (like many of that type of toys) but still I really like it, and my son plays a lot with it.

If your kids love transformers beware that this is not technically a transformer. The shell of the vehicle body actually clicks onto the robot with magnets. It assembles rather easily however you have all these little parts that will inevitably get lost. In addition, once the robot is covered up with the car pieces, if your child drops the toy, the shell of the car will pop off in pieces and the child will have to reassemble it.
