So, when I saw the pink tattoo iDog AMP'D I decided to get one for myself for the cute factor and the portability. I also figured the stereo speakers would be a nice upgrade from the original iDogs.

I bought this toy for my daughter, as her older brother had gotten an i-dog last year, and she had been begging for one!
As my son has the previous version I can honestly compare the two & here's my opinion:
The previous i-dog's head moved from left to right and the ears moved up and down and it played music either through the speakers or by just placing it near a music source.

I bought this little pup for my 11 year old for Christmas and we have had tons of fun watching it dance and boogie. It works with music in the room, car, kids singing, or plugging in your own MP3, CD, or iPod. The sound quality is great - granted it's not a stereo system, but I think it's wonderful. My only complaint is that the batteries are not rechargable - so I bought the rechargable type and that solved my problem.

What a great toy! My daughter got her i-dog for christmas and hasn't put it down! The instructions are easy to understand, and she loves the idea of "feeding" the i-dog music to keep it healthy!

We purchased this for our daughter for Christmas. It has great sound and she enjoys watching it dance to the beat. It it easy enough for her to work on her own.
