Transformers Animated Starscream features dual projectile-firing cannons. Starscreamâs jet mode is predominantly slate grey and red, with an amber-colored cockpit bubble; in robot mode Starscream is a lanky, heavily caricaturized robot with apparent articulation at the shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and knees; the projectile-firing cannons appear to be joined with Starscreamâs black gauntlets. Animated Starscream is perhaps best identified by his beady red eyes and an enormous chin second only to the one sported by the Lord of Darkness in Legend. As with many, many Starscreamâs incarnations, the Animated Starscream is a craven, opportunistic would-be despot disliked by both Autobots and Starscreamâs fellow Decepticons alike. Starscreamâs level of power is cited to be a near rival to that of Megatron---a realization which must inevitably tempt Starscream to the point of near-insanity.
