I bought these for my 7 year old nephew for x-mas. He LOVES them! They didn't come with batteries and I forgot to bring some with me when I gave them to him. I'm pretty sure my sister was relieved that I'd forgotten. I brought some over the next time I saw him and, to be honest, I think he would have loved the toy just as much without the sounds. this was a gift for a six year old boy and he loved it. after he opened this all the other gifts got pushed to the side. he played with it the rest of christmas day. I worried about the safety of the toy for accidental injury. Fun toy but would be cautious of the age of the child.

My Grandson loved this toy... The sound is great. Only one per hand it pack in the box but I felt one was plenty.

My son was so happy to have the claws, but they are not funtional and it broke the first day he played with it. I would not recommend this at all.

If you have a four year old boy who dresses up as Wolverine and IS WOLVERINE, then this is a necessary component to completing the look. From a parents perspective, it was worth it :-)
