I did not really like this book because it did not have any action in it. Some parts were okay, like when the children were under the porch listleing to the adult conversation.It really does need some action-it didn't really have a plot.To:the auther. Ilike your other books but I think in my opinion it wasn't the best. GOOD-BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- This is one of my favorite books; now and forever!!
My mother first read this book to me several years ago. I loved the story and checked it out of the library so many times, my name filled the card. I wanted to find it again to share with my mother.

- The best book for anyone, any age after the Bible.
I read this book when I was in third grade about thirty years ago. It made such an impression on me on so many different levels that I have sought it out several times over the years for myself and as gifts. I adore the characters, story, analogies and diversity of ideas, concepts and adventure.

- Fantastic Fantasy that all ages can enjoy
I first read this book when I was 13 yrs. old, and have since read it to my children. Of all the books I have read in my 44 years, this one is an all-time favorite. One of my favorite parts in the book are when the children discover the hidden room in the Victorian mansion and from there set out on exciting adventures through their dreams.

I have always found the mirror scene in this book to be very powerful. I read this book in sixth grade, and again after I graduated from college. The lessons I learned from it are just as important to me now as they were then. I still look for the mirror that leads to the most options, and cherish unique individuals!
