Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Sometimes Animals are Smarter than Humans by , James Bonura
This story is an epic battle for truth and justice. Shasta, the main character was abused by his father. But is this common fisherman dad really his dad. Shasta sets out on jorney to find out the truth. Along the way he meets not only interesting people, but animals too. He also encounters lions, mean people, shiny places, and millions of other things. When you read this book I promise you will like at least one part. I really like this book because it is set far back in the past, and I love books set in the past. I also liked the characters. I think that in a couple of years verybody will have a copy of The Horse and His Boy in there house hold. If you like books set in the past With somehting happening on every page, then this book will have you sitting on the couch reading it 5ive, 6ix, 7even, 8ight, 9ine, maybe even 10en times a month. Make sure you buy this book then read it today, or buy it for someones chrismas present. I think that you will like this book from the moment yu pick it up to the moent you finish it. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Horse and His Boy
Running through the night, attempting to escape. That's what Shasta had to do. He is planning to escape from his home village and go north to Narnia to find his real father. Come read about his adventures in The Horse and His boy. It's the third book in The Chronicles of Narnia. I love the suspense that you build up as you read about Shasta's adventures. You never know what's going to happen next as he dodges beasts and tries to escape. I love all the changes that happen as Shasta meets up with new people to help him on his journey. It is very hard to put this book down. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes adventures.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The horse and his boy
I liked the book The Horse and His Boy by C.S Lewis because it was funny when Prince Rabadash was turned into a donkey. It was sad when Avris had to marry a prince that she didn't like. It was happy when Shasta found his father, King Lune and his twin brother, Corin.
In this book there was a mean fisherman that was mean to Shasta. A Tarkaan wanted to buy Shasta to be his slave. He ran away with Bree, his horse. They then found Avris and her horse Hwin on their way to Narnia. These four wanted to go into Narnia, away from slavery and arranged marriage. Together they started a fantastic adventure that was just beginning.
When they were in Narnia, there was a lion. Bree ran away and the lion scratched the other three, but mostly scratched Avris. The lion scratched the other three because they were closer to him. Bree wanted to go back to becoming slavery because he let down his friends by not becoming scratched. He was unhappy with himself. There was hermit that could predict the future by gazing into a pool of water. He saw a battle that would take place in the future. By winning this battle, Shasta would become King. Shasta found his father and twin brother. Then Shasta became the King of the Archenland.
I recommend that you should read this interesting book. It has things that are not real and has things that sound amazing. I hope that you will like this book as much as I did.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - the horse and his boy
The book the horse and his boy by C.S Lewis was not one of the greats by him. I didnt like the characters in the story and the story line was kind of stupid. the description that lewis puts in his book is great and the setting is also but just the basic storyline doesnt work for me.
the book takes place in a desert where the boy named shasta who lives with a mean fisherman lives. then a rich prince comes and tries to buy shasta to be a slave. so shasta steals the princes horse and runs away to go to Narnia. the horse could talk.
then after that the book does pick up a little bit when they find a city and all heck breaks loose. shasta and his friends find themselves in some trouble and have to rely on new friends to help them get through it. shasta is mistaken for another runaway and is basically kidnapped. shasta is led to discover himself and even his real father. there is a war in this book so if you like fighting you might be interested in this book. also there are imaginary characters that are very interesting and have deep description.
if you like adventures and fairytales this book may be for you. i would avoid reading this book because this book just isnt for me. there are 7 books in this series and this book isnt really necessary to read if you are going to read the whole series.
