I loved this book. I read it to my daughters 3rd grade class 2 years ago, and am now reading it to my son's 3rd grade class. It takes about 6 readings and the kids really look forward to it.

As students of ms118 we rate this book a 4star.This book will make you laugh also its kind of hard because of all the infrencing words that was made up by the arther.This book talks about a litle girl name sophie and how one day she was looking out the window and she sall the giant(thebfg) sophie got really scared so she ran to her bed and got under her covers shaking so she sall a shadow in the covers.find out some more about bfg there are a lot of interresting facts to read this is a fiction book i recomend it to a person ho love fiction books.

BFG is a fantastic book that I would recommend for all ages. The story opens up when a dark shadow snatches Sophie, and takes her away to a whole new world. The dark shadow formed when her head was under a blanket. When she got to her final destination she saw the BFG.

BFG stands for Big Friendly Giant, so he is not one of those human eating, bone crunching giants. He has huge ears and wrinkly skin. His hair color is gray. But he doesn't have very much hair. So he is mainly bald.

Sophie decides that everything needs to be stopped, and the BFG is going to help her. After killing a few
bone crunching, rude giants. Sophie asked the queen
for some help to stop the other giants. They made a trap and they fell into it and died. That is how the book ended.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I hope someday
everyone will have a chance to read it. I definitely give this book 5 stars!!!

The BFG by Roald Dahl is a great book that I would recommend to anyone. The book starts with an orphan named Sophie sees a huge giant. The giant grabs her and runs all the way to Giant Country where the giant's cave is. Meanwhile nine other giants are off to different countries eating five to ten people a night. One night the BFG and Sophie go to England and try to stop the nine starving giants. Will they succeed?
Giant Country is very different than any country. The ground of Giant Country is yellow with blue rocks. It takes about two and a half to three hours to get from England to Giant Country. That's with a twenty four foot tall giant stride. It's hard for the BFG to leave his cave without getting beat by the fifty feet tall giants. Giant Country is full of all different kinds of vegetables and the BFG can't have any but the dreadful snozzcumbers. Between Giant Country and England is Dream Country. Every day in Dream Country the BFG goes and catches a couple dreams.
In conclusion The BFG was one of the best books I've read.

The BFG by Roald Dahl is a great fantasy book that I would recommend to anyone who loves reading. The story begins with the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) snatching Sophie from her bed during "The witching hour". The giant takes her to his cave in giant country. By morning, Sophie soon finds out that she was very lucky because this giant is the only giant that doesn't eat "Human Beans". He's also half the size of the other giants, like The Blood bottler and Bone crunching Giant. Soon after Sophie gets there, her and the BFG become friends. They go dream catching and make a plan to go see the Queen of England. They soon find out that getting into her castle is harder than it sounds.

The BFG was a very creative and imaginative character. Being nine feet tall, he's a very small giant. All the others are twice or three times his size. He also has extremely big ears. They are for hearing dreams. He goes to dream country where there are dream bubbles. He puts them in bottles. He then blows the bubbles into children's bedrooms for them to dream. The BFG is also very protective of Sophie. He hides her in his cave, so the other giants didn't try to eat her. However one day, they break in and start searching for her. This puts the BF to the test. Will he tell them where she is, or will he be loyal to Sophie and get thrown around by the bigger, stronger giants?
