Wow!!! the show is awesome, but i haven't read the books yet in fact i didn't even know there were books, but the show is awesome and I agree with Kiara TOM WELLING IS SOOOO HOTTTTTTT!!!

Who cares what the book was like? Tom Welling is the sexiest man on earth(along with Orlando Bloom). He can have my vote ANYDAY. He gets 5 stars just for being sexy.

- Nice Adaptation of Pilot Episode
Good adaptation of the first ep of Smallville. It was nice to read everyone's inner thoughts on what was happening and the little tidbits that weren't in the show when it first aired.

Pete's crush on Chloe is so adorable. They would've made a cute couple on the show (Though, if I heard right, Pete and Lana end up getting married).

All in all, not a brilliant book but a nice addition to the Smallville book series.

- Well-Written Adaptation of Smallville
Arrival starts off the hit television show Smallville in a readable, visually-written Smallville book tie-in series. Though it is based on the first episode, Michael Teitelbaum was able to capture the episode into a teen book that still entertains, is true to the television show, and manages to give you more insight into the background of each character. If you collect the Smallville book series, you should have this one.

This books gives the readers a lot of backgroud information of the Clark Kent adventure. He was brought to the Earth during a meteor shower, to the Kents. He was just like a gift to the Kents. He grew up into an extraordinary boy, having special abilities and great strength. This is a story which makes me "bookthirsty". I am totally amused by this smallville series and love it so much.
