Books : Dangerous Tides (Drake Sisters, Book 4)

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Christine Feehan does it again...
The Drake sister books are wonderful. Especially is you love a supernatural romance novel. I am hooked on these Sisters and I can't wait for Joley's novel coming in the summer!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Action, romance and always a great laugh.
I love this book. Libby and Ty are great characters. This book was very difficult to put down. I LOVE THE DRAKE SISTERS!!!! This series is a must read!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome Series!!!
This is an awesome series. Very HOT!! A great addition for Christine Feehan-aholics!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - My first Feehan book and my last
This book was just annoying to me. Maybe because every other page had one of the seven sisters showing up randomly and interrupting the story line. Maybe because I expected this book to be about one heroine, and instead the whole thing kept branching off to tell bits about the other sisters' and their lovers' lives. I'm sorry, but isn't that what the other books are for, if this is indeed a Drake Sisters series? Also, this was billed as an erotic suspense book, and it was not. The romance was blah and didn't even kick in until the end of the book. At that point I was skimming the pages. The story did not draw me in, the plot was so dull that I don't even know what it really was, and the protagonists were unappealing.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Not Your Ordinary Hero
The 4th Drake Sister installment was the most pleasant surprise so far in this series precisely because the hero was so unexpected. Portrayed as a genius biochemist and researcher, with enough idiosyncrasy to make Einstein proud, Tyson is memorable and unique. He's a good match for Libby, who is a medical doctor with plenty of genius tendencies of her own.

Feehan has fun with the dialog she gives Ty, having him spurt out factoids randomly in conversation. This excellent technique adds both humor and insight into his character, who hides behind his intellect when the emotions get too rough. It was daring to create a hunky genius hero with an excruciatingly low emotional IQ. This explains the many reviews specifically faulting him. He wasn't the classic rogue bad ass with a hidden heart of gold. Call it revenge of the nerds, but I really liked him!
