I would recomend it to any reader. About a Princess who lived in a palace for a while until she went to her godmother to be trained in the ways of a doran (or witch). When she went back to her palace it was under the curse of her evil sorceress aunt. Of course she trys to save it... But you have to read the book for yourself.

This book is really suspenseful. It has a lot of action in it too. Juniper and Euny were really great characters. The characters are realistic and the settings are too. This is a really good book! I would suggest this book to about anyone who likes fantasy or adventures!

This book is absolutly one of the richest books in literature I have ever read. Although, those who are weak in the stomach, this is not your book. It is very in depth and makes you think you are actually experiencing the event. It makes you want to read more. I am 11, and I am an advanced reader. There is no doubt that this book will be on my bookshelf for years to come.

Monica Furlong's words weave a story that take you back to the time when Juniper was a young girl; the stories of her time growing up and the difficulties presented captivates the reader. Whe Juniper must rescue her cousin from the clutches of an evil sorceress, her aunt, she discovers her true loyalties and makes the choice to be a doran (good witch). One of the most magical pieces of literature available today, Juniper is an excellent book that makes you question reality as you know it.

Fans of Furlong's "Wise Child" must read her prequel, "Juniper"! This book offers so much insight into Juniper's character that it would be a shame not to read it. I hope Monica Furlong continues writing her "Wise Child" saga
