Out of all the books I've ever read this is my favorite because the storyline was extremely well written. I thought the fact that Kaeldra could talk to dragons was neat, and Synge is a really cool dragon. Kaeldra was adopted by an Elythian family as a baby. I liked that she was different from everybody else. She is trying to help Lyf, her sister, get over a disease that can only be cured with dragon's milk. Kealdra has to get the dragon's milk from a mother dragon. This is an awesome book that everybody should read.

I really loved Dragon's Milk. There's certainly no lack of adventure. With intriging characters and plenty of twists in the plot, this is definately one of my favorite books.

This is the best of Susan Fletcher's work.It was the first book of hers that I read, and,I think, the best.I recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy mixed with romance and a little bit of life.

Okay, so, I'm almost 20, but I just have to say that I really enjoyed this book. I read it when I was in middle school, (borrowed from the Library) and then 7 years later I read it again. It's a wonderful book, along with all her prequels and sequels, but Dragon's Milk is the one that made Susan Fletcher and her books known to me when I was 7th grade.

I first heard about the prequall to this book, called 'Flight Of The Dragon Kyn' from a friend on the internet. A year later, I found this book in my school library, and, assuming that it was the book that I'd heard about, I checked it out. I LOVE this book! It's so vivid, I can imagine that I am watching it happen. One thing, though. The copy of the book that I read has a different cover than the one that's on this page. It shows a scene in the book where Fiora, a dragon, is telling Kaeldra(the main charecter) to get away from her draclings. Anyone know why that is?
