I am a South African lady and I found the Sonoma Diet excellent. It was easy to implement, made good sense and in a few weeks I had lost about 7 kg - something I had not been able to do before. It is one of those diets that is a way of life and even encourages you to use olive oil and to have a glass of wine with your dinner. Definitely a success. Thank you!!
Rating: - 30 lbs lighter and still going
I was looking for a lifestyle change. Nothing --even Weight Watchers -- wasn't working for me anymore. I've bought lots of books on portion control, etc. This is the first book that really helped me believe that correct portions can be satisfying in every way. The recipies are delicious --though time consuming. I am so impressed! My husband and I have been eating within the principles laid out in this book for the past 4 months. We see no reason to go back to old habits or old recipies. Thank you to the author and the wonderful culinary contributors to this book -- you've made a lasting positive impression in my life.

This book is the best book I've purchased in a long time. It was in great condition, and has helped me lose weight! The recipes are great and I love the food. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lifestyle change.

I used every recipe in this book to help my teenage Type I diabetic daughter find food that is healthy yet good. My husband and I ate the dinners while my daughter ate the breakfasts,lunches and dinners. We all loved them. I still use the recipes for every day.
Rating: - Good Diet Book....
I liked the book and the easy reading. The diet does work and is better than Atkins (in my opinion) because of the variety of foods you can eat. Just like any other diet book/plan...you need to follow directions in order to achieve maximum results. I lost 10+ pounds and recommended it to my sister who likes it also and has lost several pounds in less than a month.
