Rating: - Two boys' review: Skip Diablo, Annihilus and Terminus
I've reviewed many of the DK Readers books for my two young sons, especially those with a superhero-theme as they like those best.
I picked this up to feed their Fantastic Four interest developed from the recent movies. The first 20 pages of this book are fine, but prepare yourself for a lengthy discussion if you venture further.
I didn't enjoy having to explain to my children why villians are named "Diablo" and "Annihilus" and "Terminus." I can handle Doctor Doom and The Mole Man, but I'd rather not dwell on what makes "The Mad Thinker" so dangerous.
This book is appropriate for older kids but a bit too much for the six-year old and under audience.
