Good Movie! It's very interesting to see how Batman and Superman encounter each other and have a little brawl in the beginning of their encounter. My only complain is that I wish they would have made it a bit longer. Other than that it's not a bad dvd!

...with Batman as a guest star.
This 60-minute 'feature length' show was put together from 3 separate 20-minute episodes of the Superman Animated show. Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego are in Metropolis on business. Guests they certainly are, in both senses. The bulk of the time sticks with Superman stuff.
The Joker has figured out a way to kill Soupey (that darn Kryptonite) and asks Lex Luthor for a billion dollars to pull it off. Thus, a plot involving Batman and Superman beating henchmen, escaping death traps and flying through the night sky follows.
It is rather amusing and the scenes where Kent and Wayne see through each other's identities is cool. But there's no great plot to get involved in and it ends a bit abruptly. Gotta love that Joker though.
Overall, one of the weaker Batman entries, only just rises above Sub-Zero, which I regarded as the worst. See Mystery of the Batwoman or Mask of the Phantasm instead.
The DVD comes in a crappy snapper (I can't believe we're STILL getting these in 2005) with 1.33:1 full frame image and Dolby 2.0 sound. There are minimal extras.

Don't get me wrong as it is pretty fun, but it really pales in comparison to Mask of the Phantasm and the Mr. Freeze film. This is more Superman (who is very boring) as opposed to Batman, which is kind of a bummer.
As usual The Joker and Harley Quinn totally steal the show! Seeing The Joker is top form really brings to life how lame Luthor is as a villian.

No villiain is as crafty and cunning as the joker. He brought the man of steel to his knees. Then he damn near totaled gotham. The Batman and Superman crossover was spectacular. Bruce has Kent beatin hands down when it comes down to beein' a cool character altogether. This is without a doubt a must-own for fans or even non-fans. But Joker is the best attraction.

This was a good combinenation of the two heros animated series, although I think it was closer to supermans than batmans. Nevertheless, an excellent display of their differences and simularities. Batman, the dark-avenging angel that won't quit until he gets his man, and Superman the relentless boy-scout who has to come to terms with this new reluctant partner who will not listen to him, and in fact will do things with ir without supermans help or permission. Good blend of villians as well. I was sort of board at the notion of Joker and Lex together at first, but they complament eachother nicely. All in all an excellant buy and worth watching over.
