This storyline is fantastic. The artwork is phenomenal. I would rate this series a 7 or 8 on a scale of five when compared to other comic runs.

I am a collector of Alex Ross. The story of Justice is phenomenal it is an intriguing story and was completely worth getting all three books. I think with the heightened views of our superheroes, it is amazing to see that kids and people are, like in the 1940's, referencing their hero's again. With this book you can be proud of that again, with the story of the heroes almost being conquered and then figuring out how to stop all of their enemies. As I get older and step away from the actual comic book collecting, it is nice to be able to buy these TPB's so that we can still pick up work that we love and enjoy.

I was never much of a DC fan outside of reading Batman, but a friend of mine pushed this one on me because he's an artist and he appreciates Alex Ross' style. To make a long story short, I read his copy, bought it, read it again, and then bought the other two trades.
Alex Ross does a great job with keeping the story in line, making surprises, and just making a great run for DC comics.

The world is about to face it's fate--destruction, and the world's superheroes are powerless to stop it. Or that is what the world's supervillians believe. Mysteriously, the supervillians are all having the same dream--a world destroyed despite the efforts of the world's heroes. While supervillians have their own agenda, that usually doesn't include destroying the planet. What will they do in the face of this danger? That is the story that JUSTICE explores.
I really enjoyed the story and look forward to reading the next volume. It explores a twist that you wouldn't normally consider in the world of comics, and it is fascinating to see it unfold. As usual, Alex Ross' artwork is beautiful, and it's a joy to turn every page. I recommend this to all fans of the DC universe.

This series has both a great story and amazing art, which is sadly all too rare in comics these days (especially in the story department). Alex Ross and his co-plotters deliver a solid story pitting all of DC's major classic characters against some of their greatest enemies. Iconic characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Lex Luthor, the Joker, the Flash, Cheetah and several others are distilled to their escence and are each treated with love and respect by the creators. This is more than can be said for how DC treated it's characters in the main storylines at the time of this series release. Stories like Identity Crisis and the Omac Project signify how little DC cares about the intergrity of their heroes, making them thoroughly unlikeavle (especially Batman, who is depicted as the hero is suppossed to be here). The only downside of these hardcovers is the price for each volume, butthe softcover editions should be easier on your budget, and it is more than worth the price.
