I don't understand how some people can give this 3 stars or less. Every damn song (exception of Darwin and Slow motion... which are okay songs) are good. One person was criticizing The Red Summer Sun and the screaming part in that song... saying that he was posing Steven Tyler. There is no way Stephan Jenkins would pose anyone, he's his own voice... and that is the best part in that song. Other people were saying that they're "trying too hard and not focusing on the lyrics"... that's b.s. Listen to the lyrics of The Darkness or 1000 Julys... lets see you write songs like those and make a sick melody to them. This CD is right up there with Self Titled... and owns Out Of The Vein.

This one is my favorite Third Eye Blind album of all three. The songs were well written, varied, and had clever and interesting lyrics.
I recommend anyone to get this album, along with the other two Third eye Blind albums. Can't wait to hear some new material from them! :)

One of the few american bands I listened to before the new wave started hitting. I do enjoy this record alot and it was actually prolly the only thing I liked hearin on mtv. Very good rock music from the few american bands who do know not to spoil it!

- Good, but the first was better
I bought this album used for about seven bucks. I am glad that I did; It was worth it. Of course, it always comes down to taste and opinion, but I think that the most people would find the first album much better.
This is a pretty good album though. This one has a few songs that are completely forgetable and a few songs that are great.
There is a lot more energy in this cd. There is a lot more blaring rhythm guitar and crash symbol drumming than the first cd. If you don't have the first cd then buy that one first.

Okay so Third Eye Blind (or 3EB to die hard fans) has a real genuwine quality to their music. But out of the three albums from this band, this one is the best. Their freshman album is good, and so is their "junior" one, but this one ( the "Sophmore")album is my favorite. I can enjoy each song on this cd without having to skip a song. On the other two cd's I have to skip some. Another band you might enjoy if you are a 3rd Eye Blind fan is 'Stroke 9'.
