When the producers of the Star Wars trilogy released the 2 cd's BOX SET, every people who loves this music was very happy. A very good Job! Now! it's the same thing for the music of Superman. The Warner 87 release is now useless, with a lot of ''less-music'' At last! we have the complete score for one of the Best score of Williams... ''Jaws, est-ce pour bientot?''

I have been a John Williams admirer for many years. This is definitly one of his master pieces. The complete soundtrack along with alternate tracks is a fantastic way of remembering that the magic of this soundtrack is that it stands so well on its own as fantastic music. I too had the original soundtrack and was not happy with it being so incomplete. Finally a comprehensive look at the beauty of this great music to a great movie.

- At Last We Have The Complete Work!
Well, I can't believe it has finally been released. Superman, one of John Williams' best works has been digitally remastered and distributed in its complete form. The first Superman soundtrack was missing many tracks and offered edited versions of tunes you heard in the movie. But now, this new release has every song as heard in the film plus other unreleased gems to go along with it. Although the person who created the packaging wasn't too bright (the booklet does not fit underneath the cardboard), the cd has tons of great original artwork and liner notes to keep the Superman fan happy. The sound of this cd is much better than the first, although there are some blemishes here and there. Overall, I believe it's a must have.

- It's about time!
The first release of WB's Superman: the movie soundtrack was a fine addition to any film score fan's collection but it wasn't complete. The CD was only about an hour or so in length while the movie spanned over two hours. Where's the missing music? With this brand new spankin' release, all the missing music from the first album is here, adding a second disc making this soundtrack over two hours long. This score is indeed a classic and should be in every John Williams fan's collection. Also included in this set is a small booklet with notes about the music by Michael Matessino.
