Once again, Del reinvents himself with an incredibly progressive style. What I mean by that is, Del's flow & content (on this album) is comparable none. Others try to talk on some spaced out futuristic ish, but rarely are able to put forward the quality & understanability that this project puts forth. The beats & the rhymes are equal in quality which makes the experience that much more satisfying.

"DELTRON 3030" IS ONE OF THOSE ALBUMS THAT A TRUE HIP-HOP HEAD DREAMS OF. THE LETHAL COMBINATION OF INDIE PRODUCER DU JOUR DAN THE AUTOMATOR AND DEL THE FUNKY HOMOSAPIEN MAKE FOR A MATCH IN MUSICAL HEAVEN. FIRST OFF THIS IS A CONCEPT ALBUM BASED IN THE YEAR 3030 (HENCE THE TITLE), IT DEPICTS "DELTRON" A FUTURISTIC ROBOT SPITTING ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, TOP NOTCH, LYRICISM OVER NEARLY FLAWLESS, LANDSCAPES OF LUSH STRINGS, BOOMING BASS AND THICK DRUM LINES. THE FIRST TRACK STARTS OFF SLOW, THEN SUDDENLY HITS WITH STRINGS AND HORNS BEFITTING OF A KING'S ARRIVAL. THIS IS WHERE DEL IS IN TOP FORM, SPITTING UNTOUCHABLE LYRICS DRIPPING WITH GALACTICAL INTELLECTUALISM AND SUPREME COMPLEXITY. HE SPEWS: "... AUTOMATOR/ HARDER SLAYER/ FASCINATOR/ COMBINATION/ CYBER WARLORDS AND AGGRAVATING ABOMINATION/ ARMENATION WITH HATRED/ WE AIN'T WITH THAT/ WE HI-TECH ARCHEOLOGISTS SEARCHING FOR KNICK-KNACKS ..." AND THIS IS THE FIRST TRACK! THIS IS THE KIND OF UNCANNY LYRICISM THAT IS ALL OVER THE ALBUM. EVER VERSE IS FIRE, EVERY BEAT IS BANGING AND EVERY SKIT SERVES IT'S PURPOSE. IF I WERE YOU READING THIS REVIEW I WOULD'VE ALREADY STOPPED READING AND PLACED MY ORDER. I'M TELLING YOU THIS IS THE BEST DEL ALBUM EVER! EVERY OTHER ONE (BESIDES "I WISH MY BROTHER GEORGE WAS HERE") PALES IN COMPARISSON. IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT BUY IT NOW. IT'S WORTH EVERY RED CENT AND SO MUCH MORE!

The artists on this album are amazing. Production and the sampling throughout is eye-popping. The layout of the album makes it very easy for first time listeners to enjoy. The lyrics (although rather similar to Del's other work)are powerfuland thought provoking. This album was played nonstop among my friends in the months after it was produced. Since, i have developed a serious interest for this genre of music.
It's still among the top records that i own. Deltron 3030 is deffinitely worth a listen from beginning to end. For all music lovers.

Well, it took a while for Amazon to find this CD, but it came eventually. I could not find it on iTunes so I'm just happy it arrived. Once they said they had found it, it arrived within 2 days. Overall I am happy with the transaction.

i love this cd. it is probably my favorite rap album right now. the lyrics are great and the beats are awsome. if you like real rap then you will love this. del is probably my favorite rapper...this man has talent. buy this cd NOW.
really...my favorite music is metal. like in flames, killswitch engage, as i lay dying, children of bodom, dark tranquility, at the gates, and all those types of bands. but this is just great.
only rap i really like is underground...this is it right here people.
