- Good disc...
Fans of Weezer, etc... would dig this. Good soft punk rock from a pretty talented band. The best aspect of this disc would have to be the songwriting. All in all, a good cd.

- Great Album From A Great Band
First let me say that I have been a JEW fan for some time, I became an instant fan when I heard Static Prevails. Not often have I been so loyal to a band. When Clarity came out I loved it as much as Static Prevails. When JEW signed with a new label I was nervous that they would become to pop. I am pleased to find it only happened with one of the songs from the new album. (MIDDLE) If you do not own this one go out and buy it. If you are new to JEW go and buy Static Prevails, Clarity, and this one. You will not regret it.

- I get lost somewhere in the beginning and end of the album.
This is a great album, purely based on the songs "The Middle" and "Sweetness". But the other songs don't speak as clearly as the two above.

Maybe I'm picky or just new to the world of punk. But I really don't get a feel of anything in the other songs.

But this doesn't matter because the songs that I like the most are worth the money.

- Futures
The Futures CD didnt have a space for me to put a review so Ill put one here. First of all, this is also a great album and by far thier best yet, clarity is also good. I am a very big fan of the band. I am also a DJ and had the fortune of hearing a few tracks off of the new album "Futures". I will tell you this the new album is gonna be a lot heavier than the last, almost the whole album is kinda like the first 2 tracks on this album. There are a few traditional Jimmy songs on the new album though, but a lot heavier. The bend is definently going in a new direction and may dissapoint some of its fans, but I think that a trew JEW fan will love the new album too. I personally think its good that they are going heavier. I would almost say that the new album "Futures" puts the band in sort of the same category as A Perfect Circle, and Maroon 5.

- One of the better albums of its year
Despite all the critical muck that gets thrown around over the new surge in emo (and some of it's definitely warranted) I gotta say: Jimmy Eat World dropped one hell of an album here. It's jam packed with high-energy songs that could lure throngs of the whiniest, crabbiest, sad-bastard emo lovers out of their underground punk rock hovels into an arena for the first time. Pick this up. Highlights: "Sweetness," "A Praise Chorus" and the acoustic song that's pretty good.
