Music : The Golden Hum

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - love it
this is such a beautiful cd, great easy listening
such a shame that Remy Zero arent together any more
a true fan.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - almost perfect
the golden hum - what can i say? its almost the perfect album. The only negative criticism i can think of is that you have to wait too long to hear the hidden track. Every song on the album brilliant. Brilliantly written, sung and performed each track is the equal of all the others on the album. Although if i had to choose my favourites i'd say; Out/In, Over the rails and hollywood high and glorious #1. Id' almost say 'Grace' by Jeff buckley is the greatest album of all time, but because of the consistency of the golden hum i rate remy zero's effort higher.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Simply Amazing
This is by far the best album I think I have listened to. Many have compared Remy Zero to Radiohead, but I personally don't see too close a resemblance. My personal favourite on the Golden Hum is "Over the rails and Hollywood high". It isn't slow, isn't fast, but s sincerely well written, and has a chorus you won't want to stop singing
If you havn't heard of Remy Zero before, you're missing one of the best bands that only were able to get their small moment of glory thanks to The WB and Smallville, where their song Save Me was played as the theme song.
But being underrated and totaly missed adds to the way I view them, and I think it helps up their appeal
BUY THIS ALBUM!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I love it!
I first heard of Remy Zero when I got the Garden State soundtrack, and ever since then I've loved their music. Villa Elaine was a good album, but I like The Golden Hum better. One thing that absolutely surprised me was the track "Save Me." That's the Smallville theme song! This band is different from the over-played rot that clogs the airwaves, so definitely take a listen. It's just too bad that they broke up.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - give it a listen.
These guys are great. I don't know how they got overlooked. They are broken up now, and that makes me sad. This plus their other two albums are still in circulation on my play list.
