What can I say except WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I first heard "Save Me" about 2 years ago- our local radio station played it every 2 hours for a week and then never played it again. I had to find this band! At first I was afraid to listen to the rest for fear that I'd hate the other songs but finally I found the courage- and I'm glad! Every song is magic- absolutely spellbinding. And whether you're contemplating a purchase or have owned the CD from day one, don't forget about the last track- about 3mins 30 sec after the last song is a bonus track- hands down the most beautiful song I've ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!! Some days when I come home and I've just had the most horrendous day, I put on this CD and one hour later I feel 100% better. Buy it and listen to it every day- you'll love it! I guarantee!

Save Me makes a great video. Too bad they sold the song to the WB, because now it's unlistenable. Glorious #1 is a very cool track. A few others are good. Most are just O.k. but sort of boring. A listenable, four star record, though. My biggest complaint is that this album and Filter's so-so Amalgamut, both recent masters by the famed Bob Ludwig, sound oddly harsh and unpleasant to my ears compared to anything he's ever done. Bob, you're doing something wrong, buddy.

I enjoyed this cd, particularly 'Save Me' and the hidden track on #11 but overall, this cd wasn't what I expected at all. Most of this was due to false comparisons by some Amazon reviewers who said this band is like Radiohead and U2. U2, a little. Radiohead, not at all.
Thom York's voice has been compared to EVERYONE and it's getting old. Coldplay, The Verve, and now this band. These bands are nothing alike.
What I did notice was that Remy Zero struck a resemblence to The Verve. The lead singers are so similar it's almost frightening. If you enjoyed The Verve before they broke up, Remy Zero will suffice you with similar tunes. If you are an avid fan of Radiohead, however, this group is nothing like them.

this cd is one i came across at a time when i needed faith in the music world. while everthing goes on sounding the same in the pop industry, these guys have gone counter culture. it's a very creative sound, full of warm, driven guitar riffs, beautifully layered over effects, and a clean sharp vocal. and the song lyric is poetic and thought provoking. i would recommend this to all people who want to expand their music minds.
