I love this disc. I just keep playing it over and over. It is a fresh new sound. Yeah, I guess you would have to call it rap. But I really don't even like rap. This stuff is intelligent, and stylish and very musical. Get it. The track called Salvation is worth the price of admission all by itself. Trust me on this one....

Citizen Cope has a jazzy, soulful sound that incorporates hip hop into it. I saw Citizen Cope open for Nelly Furtado and they were wonderful. The lead singer, Clarence Greenwood, has great stage presence. The songs are moving and uplifting. I recommend this to anyone. Check out number 5!

This is a must-have cd!!! I bought it after being AMAZED by Cope in concert, and I've listened to it everyday since then. I highly recommend this cd to everyone who loves ORIGINAL music.

I saw Citizen Cope open for Nelly Furtado in memhis tn this past weekend. He style and lyrics blew me away. After the show I bought the cd and meet him and he was so humble and nice. I haven't stopped listening to his cd since.

This CD is fantastic! Reminds me of G Love. I just bought this CD yesterday and it has been in my CD player ever since. If you like laid-back music with a hip hop and jazz sound, this CD is for you!!
