Zero 7 have become one of my favorites when I just want to relax with a glass of wine. Turned on the their sound after hearing the amazing and classic "When It Falls", I have since collected all of their releases, and "Simple Things" ranks up there as one of their best.

For the uninitiated, Zero 7 play a very melancholy and addictive brand of trance/electronica; featuring both male and female vocals and combining elements of folk guitar, techno, progressive rock and soul to weave a lush, warm and nearly hypnotic spell on your senses. Any lover of music should own this album. One of the most relaxing, introspective and beautiful bands ever. Zero 7 heal my soul.

Simple things by zero 7 has got to be my favourtite chillout album, The perfect afterparty album to listen to after midnight, i first heard of this band after seeing the video for destiny six years ago and is my favourite song on the cd, my other favourite songs are, I have seen,Distractions, in the wating line and This world.

This is a VERY nice easy listening, with a slightly different beat that makes you feel right at the edge of wanting to move. Electronic/Dance is how it is classified. If you like a snappy easy beat you'll love Simple Things.
