There is no way to discribe this movie. You can tell from the title that it envolves the joker, but the question is HOW.
This is a great flick, not for kids I asure you. Its filled with action & a very cool Plot. The story is written very well. This is no Loony Tune movie, its is a REAL movie, done in animation.
It is a true inspiration to what a Batman movie should be, full of guessing, action and some awesome dialoge.
I also like the fact how they give you little hints onto how the new Batman came to be, incase you didn't know that already from "Batman Beyond : The Movie" or the TV series, so you can totally watch this film and be right ontop of the game like the rest of us, minus all the cool details :D
There is also 'a making of' which was cool to watch, the music video 'Crash' which I have been hooked on resently, as well as trivia and some extra scenes (storyboard format) that didn't make it to the final cut.
In short, this is a GREAT movie, it will provide entertainment for many times to come.

Beware of Jay Rowthees' review of the Return Of The Joker. He has spoiled this whole movie in his review without any warning. My copy is being sent from Amazon as I write this but sadly there will be no surprises for me when I watch it because Jay Rowthee has given away the whole story in a few sentences. Damn you Jay Rowthee may your actions drive you insane!

You know how often if a cartoon series makes a movie often times it's only half new material? Well this is not a problem with this movie. Its very original, and its new if you know what i mean. Actually I have this on tape, not DVD so I don't know about any of the special features so you'll have to look into that yourself.
Well basically this is about how the Joker somehow returns, how you ask? Through a series of interesting plot twists you'll find out. Personally I liked this movie, it was like the show only it's longer and has a new plot.
The thing I like about the movie and the show, it has some nice artwork. There is a lot of nice inking and art in this so if you are like me and are a serious art critic when it comes to cartoons you can relax.
On the whole this is a good movie, a few bugs but other than that, it's and instant masterpiece.

I mistakenly bought this for my 4 year old, as I was fooish enough to forget cartoon doesn't equal children anymore. Robin gets tortured into insanity and commits murder. Interesting for me, but too much for the little guys.

This movie was way more than I expected. This movie is certainly not r-rated, but is uncut from the HBO version. So not really hardcore, but it is telling the truth that it is unrated. The movie itself is a cross between Bat. Beyond and the origianl animated series. Some of the animation is REALLY good for this non-theatrical release. Though it could not pass for a big screen movie, still very enjoyable for you people who like good cartoons.
