I do not even know where to start on Greenwheel.
I first heard of them on the Spiderman 1 soundtrack with "Shelter," which is a decent song, but it is one of my least favorite (if that's even possible) Greenwheel songs. I didn't even really listen to their CD when my brother bought it. After a while, he told me how good they were, so I downloaded all their songs. They were definitely good - in the same ballpark as some of my other favorite bands - Fuel, Pearl Jam, Default. However, I didn't have a song that I was extremelely hooked on. Then I found it - "I Don't Believe"...yes, I know, it's not on this CD, and it's not on any other CD...but you NEED to download this song if you can, it is unbelievable - I have played this song for so many people, and every single person is in awe (actually the song is on a CD, but I don't think that the CD is available except for used copies - it's on a CD back when they called themselves Soma Holiday, a self-titled album ... and if you do find that CD, also check out the song "Peace of Mind"). I heard that song and instantly got hooked on Greenwheel.
My favorites on this album are definitely "Breathe" (don't get me started on the b**** Melissa Etheridge that stole this song from Greenwheel), "Radiance", "Sustain You", "Dim Halo", and "Disappear".

This CD is totally solid. Greenwheel rocks, and rocks even harder live. Get this if you like rock with melody.
"Breathe" is by Greenwheel. That old lady just covered it. If you think a kick ass band like Greenwheel is going to cover a Melissa Ethridge song, you have no idea of what's going on.

While this is an excellent rock debut, there are some uncanny coicidences between this and Melissa Etheridge's recent release Lucky. The main one is the song "Breathe." While it sounds more like an Etheridgesque song, both versions are good. I don't know who to believe. We first heard it come Greenwheel, but then heard it from the veteran rocker, but who do we believe? I can't say, but either way I still like this cd in it's entirety. It's a good buy from an up and coming band.

I love this cd!!!! I bought it over 2 months ago and now love every song on the cd. I started off only knowing "Shelter" and "Breathe" (both were played on a local radio station). At first, the cd was basically background music for when I was on the computer. Now I rock out to every song. Greenwheel ROCKS!!!

I saw this band open before Our Lady Peace last year, and i thought they sounded SOOOOOOOOOO good live, that i had to go out and buy the cd. How rare is that?! Buying the album, i was NOT disapointed. Every song on here rocks! I expecially like the song Louder Than Words (4) "Words are injustice to the songs you sing, minding your best intentions. Silence speaks louder than words sometimes, not everybody listens. Be known to all who'd only shut their mouth." --How Genius is that????? If your a musician yourself, this band should REALLY inspire you. I know they inspired me. Strong is a WAY good song too. "Breathe"--"Home is a feeling a buried in you. I'm alright, I'm alright, it only hurts when i breathe." --How many people out there can relate to that??? Then the song "Shelter", is great to put as the first song on the album, it really gets your attention. I just LOVE the singers voice, i have never heard so much emotion in a person's voice (go see them live!!!) Sustain You is also one of my favorites, and also really liked the song "Dim Halo," really catchy beat after awhile. Its really hard to pick a favorite on this album though, cuz every song is WAAYY good. Anyway, overall, one of the best rock albums i've ever heard. I cant WAIT to hear their next album. This band will definelty leave you wanting more.
