I'll "cut to the chase" - this is now one of my favorite CD's, along with my old Jackson Browne, Dan Fogelberg, etc. It's that good (to take it's place among those artists)! There's not a bad cut on the CD. Both the lyrics and melodies are strong. Hopefully the CD that Alice is now working on in the studio will be as satisfying.

When I first heard this CD by Alice Peacock, I was blown away. Even today, the song SOME THINGS GET LOST is enough to cause me to pause in reflection. Peacock's voice is filled with emotion and the skills necessary to pull off an amazing CD where other's fail. I have purchased and given away as presents several dozen copies of this CD to friends because I believe it is that good.

Alice is an extremely talented lady with a beautiful voice and amazing lyrics. Many will enjoy Bliss with John Mayer - especially for the lyrics...John's voice in the background (nicely added with subtlety) is a perfect match with Alice's . And Parallel Life is terrific. This CD is an easy listen from start to finish !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Buy it today ! Support this great up & coming artist!

It's getting only 4 stars because I haven't heard the CD yet, but after hearing Alice Peacock sing last night (August 6) to open "Heart's" show in Saratoga, CA, I had to hear more, and based on what I heard there, I can give at least 4 stars to "Some Things Get Lost, which brought me to tears. I usually take opening acts with a grain of salt, but after just one song, I was hooked. I can't wait to get this CD!
Note: I finally got this CD and it's great. Good buy.
