This code enhancer is way more better than Gameshark. You should definetly get this other than gameshark.

This item is a piece of crap. After months of searching for this item I finally manage to get it only to find out it does not work. I either end up with the screen frozen on the game boy logo screen or if I actually manage to get the action replay screen to pop up I follow the steps only to have the codes not work at all or the game just freezes and makes a weird buzzing noise.

Bought this product on 11/18/04 from Walmart and for the first week it worked great. It had over a hundred games preloaded in, and I was able to add new codes to the game. Unfortunately I assumed too much, and assumed that it would work flawless, so I threw away my receipt and the box and only kept the manual and game.
However just today I loaded this unit, and all my codes were ERASED!! I did not do anything, the machine just erased all my codes! What a piece of junk!

I am the author of the "Action Replay codes for Ruby and Sapphire", and the reason Action replay messes up your games is because you have probably used a gameshark or some other cheat device that alters the game data. Because of this, the AR will not work or mess up your game. So if you have a gameshark or somthing else, STICK WITH IT.

I bought an action replay a few days after my friends to replace my crappy gameshark. Everyone that I know who bought 1
got his (or hers) screwed up QUICK!! Within 2 weeks, EVERY SINGLE ONE GOT SCREWED UP!! This can't be a coincidence! If you STILL want to buy one, don't bother. You might as well flush 20 bucks down the potty!!
