My son is only 5 but he loves superheroes. He loves this show even though he can't understand everything. I enjoy the episodes because it has many DC characters that I grew up. The episodes are all right for little kids but still have enough tension to keep adults amused, even though the fight scenes go on too long for my taste. I wish they had the whole season available.

"Reviewer Paco", who seems to believe that anything animated should be viewable by all children, should wise up and look at the TV rating of the cartoon BEFORE buying the DVD. Justice League and Justice League Unlimited (which Cartoon Network airs at 10 o'clock at night) is rated TV-Y7-FV which is described as follows:
Directed to Older Children - Fantasy Violence
For those programs where fantasy violence may be more intense or more combative than other programs in this category, such programs will be designated
Wanting to know how he should explain something "to your 4-year old little girl or boy watching" begs the question, why is your 4 year old watching something meant for children a little older in the first place.
I'm all for Parents monitoring what there children watch. That being said, however, does not mean that Parents should blindly buy a Superhero DVD or see the Warner Brothers label and think it's going to be OK, sight unseen. Have we forgotten how violent the old Warner Brother's cartoons were? Why was the Coyote chasing the Road Runner? What was Elmer Fudd doing with that shotgun?
Don't blame the DVD.

It's an understatement that many of us feel ripped off by WB's attempt to unfairly empty our wallets. If we refuse to buy these horribly priced episode dvds and at the same time purchase the available full season box sets that are of value then we can make some headway. They are in the business of making $$$. Slowing their cash flow will force them to give us consumers' products we demand or risk losing our disposable income. Die-hard fans of this series and other series must convince every parent to withhold from purchasing these dvds until full seasons are made available. C'mon WB, we love these shows and will pay for them. We only ask that you don't rape our wallets. Give us the full season box sets much sooner.

First of all, I grew up with Justice League comic books and even have a couple left from years ago. "A kid's review", who trashed JL (and posted it twice, no less) obviously is either too hard to please or needs not to take things so seriously. If that individual doesn't like JL, he or she doesn't have to watch it. Just don't trash my "pals" with your narrow mindset, okay?
I've seen every JL and JL Unlimited that has been aired over the past couple or so years, and I've enjoyed every one of them. This DVD and the other JL DVDs have good and interesting episodes, although I whole-heartedly agree that WB needs to release the full seasons in boxed sets. These JL DVDs could use more special features, too, but for a hard-core fan, they're worth the $$. I recommend them for those who aren't trying to hold out for box sets.
I enjoy the clean and detailed style. The animation could be a little better, but what the heck? It's so much better than most of the garbage some studios are trying to pass off for animation. The dialogue, artwork style, and character portrayal is great. The interaction among the characters is precisely the way I remember it in the comic books even back in the 1960s. The artists do a great job with the expressions on the characters' faces, too. I guess that's the main reason why I like this and the other DVDs; this middle-aged citizen can recede to my childhood for a little while and enjoy the fantasy with my old pals. My grown kids enjoy JL, too. By the way, I think Hawkgirl is a babe without her mask on.

This film is not fit for children under the age of 16 and it is a pathetic, crying shame. It is all due to one stupid, needless comment. There is a scene in this movie in which a hit-man basically suggests having sex with Wonder Woman. I could not believe what my eyes and ears were taking in. How do you explain this to your 4-year old little girl or boy watching? Kids always ask questions about what they don't understand. Where were the editors Warner Brothers???? Why can't these guys making super-hero films just make clean, action-packed, well-scripted material. For some reason they think they need to add some rough edges, innapropriate behavior or language and they think they are making it cool for older kids and adults? Is that it? All they do is alienate thier product from any self-respecting parent with half a brain. The old Super Friends DVD's are much better.
