Sue looks too much like a soceer mom with a cheap haircut. Why, oh why didn't they use John Buscema's concept of sue. John envisioned Sue as a blond Sophia Loren. The current sculpture looks too much like the current F.F.'s illustrator's idea of sue. That guy draws the F.F. with clown feet, and a vacant, doopey Lance Bass expression. Well, he does!

I was pleasantly surprised by this figure. He is really cool!! I always wondered how they would pull off a Mr. Fantastic figure and now I know. Even though he has a very familiar ToyBiz sculpt, it really works for Mr. Fantastic. ToyBiz could really kick out a lot of Marvel Legends figures using this sculpt. Most would fit under this kind of body frame. This figure bears a very good resemblence to the comic book character. Mr. F has two regular hands and two bendy hands which display his fantastic superpower nicely. I suppose they could have made something like that for his legs, too, but who cares. The wall display is well done, too. Now, all they need to do is put him in some past Fantastic Four uniforms like the blue-and-white combo that the Marvel Legends Thing with trenchcoat is in. In any uniform, Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) is a perfect addition for the Marvel Legends Series 5 figures. He is a great toy for fans of all ages. Get him while you can.
