DVD : Justice League - Starcrossed: The Movie

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Great show!! Horrible dvd release !!!!!
The 3 part story stands on its own but it is a waist of money when you should instead wait for the season box sets if they
ever come out. Otherwise just record them or TiVo them.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Star Crossed
WOW!!!
This movie has everything. I enjoyed this movie alot.
It shows a side of the Justice League thats, well human.
Hopefully you guys will know what I am talking about after you see the movie. It has suspence, action, its just an all around good movie.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - DON'T BUY THIS DVD!!!
It's an understatement that many of us feel ripped off by WB's attempt to unfairly empty our wallets. If we refuse to buy these horribly priced episode dvds and at the same time purchase the available box sets that are of value then we can make some headway. They are in the business of making $$$. Slowing their cash flow will force them to give us consumers' products we demand or risk losing our disposable income. Die-hard fans of this series and other series must convince every parent to withhold from purchasing these dvds until full seasons are made available. C'mon WB, we love these shows and will pay for them. We only ask that you don't rape our wallets. Give us the box sets much sooner.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - highly entertaining
I didn't see these episodes when they were on and I put off buying this for fear it was dull, but I'm here to tell you this is anything BUT dull. This has it all: action, humor, and more than a little drama. And I just have to say I love how they handle Batman in this one. From his sarcasm, to the overly casual way he lets Flash and the others know that he keeps tabs on their lives as well as the criminals, to his sneaking aboard the Hawk Ship. But all the characters are well written in this one, and the fight in the Batcave is not to be missed. I did have a major gripe with the fate of Green Lantern's ring during the finale though. I'm not an expert on DC comics history though so maybe it could happen but I tend to doubt it. But then again I have always been more of a Marvel than a DC fan so who can say. In any case though this is well worth the time and money, and has got to be considered one of the best Justice League stories and a must see for fans of the show.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - JL Movie of the Year!
Well... not so. As I can give 'Savage Time', 'Maid of Honor' and several other JL titles five stars. But that just because WB haven;t released the complete titles!!! (See!!! How many of us want the COMPLETE season 1 and 2 so much!!!)

Anyway, the story is great. Conflicts handled delicately. Love it when Batman tried to steer the Watchtower (my Batman... my watchtower), tho it meant sacrificing his own life. DVD features are great. Love the tour of the watchtower, especially. Also the other features of Hawkman and character bios. And the music! Man... Can't WB make a special JL screen saver with music on it? It's got to be awesome!

I'm a bit sad that Hawkgirl is leaving the league. But as many said, it is so hard to accept her again (soon, at least) after her double-cross. She's been my fave character, in addition to Wonder Woman, Batman and Jonn Jonz. Anyway... nice little touch in the end with GL.

And WW-Batman too! Or rather, Diana-Bruce; cause I couldn;t breath to see them 'pretend' kissing each other. I do hope that WB is not going to end their potential love story like GL and Hawkgirl (or like in JLA comic - sob!). Okay, I know kids watch the show as well... but a bit of love is ok, no? Especially after Shayera leaving GL, we have no other pair but Bruce-Diana (and the least told Superman-Lois).

Not a waste of money at all.

And so here we are again; the fans, waiting for other DVD collections of JL, hopefully the complete ones this time...
