Boycott Smallville purchases
The series may have started off nice and worthy of the legacy but the way that TPTB are headed with their vision of this Clark Kent and Lois Lane many of us diehard fans will be left dissapointed. Lets let the almighty dollar do it's work and lets vote with it by avoiding the purchase of Smallville products like the DVD's and other related items.
If at all possible try to return the sets you already have even if they are open. Make sure the retailer knows the reason is because you are becoming disenchanted by where the story is going and you wish to voice your opinion retroactively by withdrawing your financial support of the show. (You can always buy them again later when they get their act together, just as long as the point that you are trying to voice your opinion is heard)
Now you may think that as a comic fan or chlois fan you are only a small portion of the ratings pool that actually gives a damn if Clark is portrayed properly or Chlois happens but think about this: We may be a small segment of the ratings pool but we are the bulk of the fandom that buys the DVD's, the comics, the companion book tie-ins, go to the ComicCons/conventions, and will buy the future action figures/video games/and other ties in that are yet to come.
In the end they will have to take a look and decide which would they rather make happy? The bulk of the ratings fans who tune in and sit and watch the series at home and view a few comercials, or the smaller fandom part that will spend the money long after the series is forgotten.

Season 3 of Smallville is one of the best seasons of the show mabey the best one. Smallville is a very exciting show and gets more exciting every episode. This season is my personaly 2nd favorite season. Season 2 was probly my favorite but season 3 is about just as good. Season one is almost as good as them. It is pretty much just an opionion queston I think. I would be sure and get this if you are interested.

There comes a point in every TV show when the viewer needs to feel invigorated and fresh about watching the show. No matter how much a person likes a certain show, it is nice to keep having milestone moments to keep the passion alive. For me, this happened during the Third Season of Smallville. Now, don't get me wrong, I would have watched the Third Season if it would have been terrible, but nothing of the sort happened. In Season Three, Smallville cements its reputation as one of the greatest shows of our time. It takes all the plot threads of the previous two seasons and builds them into a crescendo that covers almost the entire Third Season! The highlights:
-Under the influence of red kryptonite, Clark runs away from home and heads to Metropolis.
-Lex is pushed to the brink (or over?) of insanity.
-Metropolis crime boss Morgan Edge takes an interest in the Luthors and the Kents.
-Perry White of the Daily Planet is introduced.
-The return of Christopher Reeves and what side is he really on?
-Will Lex ever regain his mind?
-A Krypton girl (Kara) claims to have all the answers Clark is looking for.
-Lionel Luthor shows his true allegiances.
-A surreal season finale, in which the bedrock of the Smallville community is shaken to the core.
Through all those great plot threads, the strength of Smallville is still its character development. My favorite single episode of Smallville, Relic, airs in Season Three. In Relic, actors Tom Welling (Clark) and Kristin Kreuk (Lana) play characters from Smallville of the 1960s. Though the characters of "Lana" and "Clark" do not apply in that time period, it is still fascinating to see Welling and Kreuk interacting with one another portraying different characters.
In conclusion, Season Three of Smallville really expanded the show in new and better directions. I am anxiously waiting the Season Four DVD set through the mail, where I have no doubts the show will continue to expand its horizons.

Great DVD's to own. If there are any Smallville (or Tom Welling fans which I am) out there, this will make a nice addition to your collection. Recommend!!!!

Couldn't wait for it to come. Love it and am sharing it with my kids and grandkids. (I got them started on it with season 1.)
