Contrasting with the movies..etc, this series focused on the Superman legend from Clark Kent's perspective.
Instead of being the nerd, Clark was transformed into a hunky reporter. Clark doesn't know how to tell the woman he loves about his 'secret' and frequently sought advice from his parents about his next move. Superman still battled evildoers, but he also wrestled with personal issues (romantic and/or work-related)as Clark.
Cain did look great in 'the suit', but he also delivered his 'farmboy turned reporter from Kansas' lines in a convincing manner. Everybody who worked on this series had understood that Clark Kent could not be an 'aside' to Superman, both characters needed fair due in the storylines.
Michael Landes plays Jimmy Olsen in the pilot and first season of this hit ABC series. "Lois and Clark" had just the right amount of drama/action to keep audiences hooked throughout the seasons. I loved watching this series during original airings, cable syndication, and eagerly await DVD releases.
