- Erica Durance's star begins to shine
This dvd set is worth buying for one reason: The introduction of Lois Lane. Erica Durance and Tom Welling have fantastic chemistry. I was getting tired of the lana pendulum - too bad it's still going on in the current season. But, Lois provided a breath of fresh air after the extremely dark season 3(the worst season of the entire series) plots. The slow burn between Clark and Lois in this series reminds me of Sidney Bristow and Michael Vaughn in ALIAS seasons 1 and 2.

- Somewhat disappointed
As much as I like Smallville the fourth season, I was disappointed how the show that stated out as clean and family friendly, should now be rated PG-13 for sexual content. I enjoyed the first two seasons, and the third was OK. But after the fourth I really feel like ending my obsession with Smallville.

I have all the seasons and this one is a must have. Alot about Clarks past starts to open up and Lex gets more evil.......

I'm a big fan of the show and I thought season 4 was extremely good I definately reccomend this for all the collectors of the seasons.

This is Clark's story moving forward toward the end of high school, and you get to see the changes in the major characters, different sides of them some times darker and some times softer. I found it full of unexpected plot twists and geat use of imagination in bringing out the secret lives of the people we come to know and care for. The season ends leaving you needing to know what happens next.
