Batman - Mystery of the Batwoman (Keepcase)

In association with Amazon.com
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A different Bruce Wayne, same Batman
I agree with most of the reviews showed up here. However, it would be good to let u know that this movie - Mistery of the Batwoman- is full with extras, including the awesome short "CHASE ME", which features Catwoman in her latest animated style featured on The New Aventures of Batman TV series. Bruce Tim is not the producer on this movie ( he had produce so far Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond and Justice League Animated Tv series)so you can expect a different quality and action on this movie. That doesnt means we have a mediocre or bad movie. What we can notice is that they show a different face on Bruce Wayne. A Bruce Wayne you all gotta see. Batman keeps being Batman. We have Tim Drake as Robin, who was barely showed in action. Barbara Gordon alias Batgirl appears also, but only for letting fans know that she STILL exists (current Justice League fans are always wondering where in the world is she and Robin!)The movie shows a deep secret on Batwoman's identity. We all got confused about her alter ego and everytime u seem to know who she is you realized you got it "wrong". Excellent animation quality, awesome sound and fun extras. Dont rent this movie, buy it!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Beautiful, exciting, and amazingly well-written
As an avid fan of the original animated series, I feel that this movie is a smashing addition to the Batman myth. Aside from the animation and action sequences, there's the challenge of actually trying to figure out who she is. I guarantee you won't know until the very end. My words aren't enough, so I'm afraid you'll have to actually buy the thing for yourself.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good stuff
"Batman - Mystery of the Batwoman" was thought up, approved, and made in a very short stretch of time (as animated movies are reckoned). This, perhaps, contributed to a few shortcuts in the animation process and characterization. For example, the Penguin (In My Humble Opinion) didn't look or sound quite right.

For most of the animated "Batman" shows since 1992, the Penguin (until now, voice-acted by Paul Williams) was animated as being very close to his "Batman Returns" look. This was due to the fact that "Batman Returns" came out that same year, so it was understandable the Warner Bros. would want to keep the look consistent. "Batwoman", however, is a return to "old school" Penguin, only a little taller and a *lot* slimmer. The new voice-actor, David Ogden Stiers, is good, but I still like Paul Williams better.

Rupert Thorne (John Vernon) is his crafty old self, but what's with the playing cards? He's always got a deck of cards in his hand, or so it seems, and I kept expecting him to yell "Surprise!" and reveal himself as the Joker.

Despite these rather confusing moves by the filmmakers, "Batwoman" turns out to be pretty good flick, with a catchy song, "Betcha Never" (think J. Lo). The new 'Batwoman' keeps Batman & co. guessing while giving Thorne and the Penguin major-league headaches. At the same time, Bruce Wayne has a new love-interest who happens to be the daughter of a notorious gangster--and possibly Batwoman herself? You'll have to see the movie to find out!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Story, Good Animation, Another Classic
Bruce Timm does another great job with this one. It has every thing including an ending no one saw coming and the coolest charecter of all time, Bane. And in regards to the guy who thinks it looks like the one in the coloring books and thinks justice leage is better, two things 1)Why are you looking at coloring books? 2)Every one else on Justice Leage sucks except for Batman. So go buy it!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Another great Batman cartoon
Being a huge Batman fan I don't really see the anime series as much as I use to.It's never really on anymore and that irritates me.Mystery of the Batwoman answered my prayers. From Mask of the Phantasm, and Sub-Zero this was another terrific story for the cartoons of Batman. My frienda and I sat around to watch it,and we were all impressed with this film.Suprisingly it's hilarious (which was something I didn't expect in a Batman cartoon). For those of you who choose not to watch these cartoons give them a try. This one was better than Batman & Robin. It's full of twists and turns, that will keep you guessing till the end.The voices are great, the drawings are beautiful, and the effects are pretty good. There's actually I charcter in this movie who looks just like Halle Berre (I'm serious). The ending was good to for Bruce Wayne.I wish they would just quit trying to make more Batman movies, and just make them to cartoon films instead.
