I have watched many animated series and nothing comes close to this. I am a music composer, producer and film student as well as a
multi media programmer and I have to say the studio work alone is well worth the purchase of this series.
The sound tracks and sound effects are perfectly done. This series was done very well and there has been nothing since to duplicate the quality of this series. The stories
are well written for the demographic this series is projected to. I've read other reviews and have to say some are right on the money while others over analyze and should stick
to reading statistics or counting beans. For me, being in the media creation business I am impressed with this series. The sound designing, animation and story writing are no easy task for
a specific demographic and this series does it very very well. This series is well produced, written and delivered as a finished product.. I have seen
nothing that even comes close to this series to this day in 2009. Either animation creators are lazy nowadays or this series was so great it
continues to crush the competition.
To sum it up, Great series, a must buy for any adult or child fan of batman.

I bought it knowing exactly what this was, and I must say the second season doesn't disappoint. It adds more depth to the characters and adds new characters to the mix that I think had a lot of potential, such as Max. Anyway, anyone who enjoyed the first season should definately pick this up, its a bit more expensive but its double the amount of the previous season. I say go for it!

I first saw this show on Cartoon Network in Japan, where it was re-titled "Batman The Future". I was blown away by the great art and animation, the voices, the music, the stories and the non-stop excitement! This show is pure quality from start to finish. It also has its poignant moments. Beautifully told, magnificently animated and wonderfully presented. An absolute masterpiece.

Following its' success with Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures, WB gave us Batman Beyond. Taking place some 50 years in the future, Bruce Wayne passes on the mantle of Batman to Terry McGinnis who tries his best to balance his nightlife with his lovelife and high school. All 26 episodes of season two are spread out over four discs. Extras include commentary from cast and crew as well as a 12-minute featurette called "Inside Batman Beyond: The Panel," featuring interviews with producers Bruce Timm, Alan Burnett, Glen Murakami, and Paul Dini. Also, a gallery of trailers for other Warner Home Video animated releases complete Disc 4. While I'll admit, it is slim pickins'..it is still welcome. Any extras are always welcome in this day and age on DVD as most DVDs don't include extras anymore. At any rate, Season 2 is great. I recommend it to all Batman fans and animation buffs everywhere. This is a great show.
