- Lois and Clark progressed the way it should have
While it was uneven at times, the final season wasn't that bad.

It began with an epic battle between Kal-El and Lord Nor for the rightful hand of Zara, to rule with her over New Krypton and ended with an infant being left in the care of Clark and Lois Kent.

In between, we were finally able to witness the marriage of the Daily Planet's hottest team in town of Lane and Kent. We traveled with them back in time with H.G. Wells to fix a curse that would have affected their marriage but before there was a chance for them to begin adjusting to their new status as Mr. and Mrs., Lois was set up and framed for murder. And that was just for starters.

The rest of the season followed the intrepid reporters and newlyweds through their first year of marriage and all the adjustments that it requires. It also gave us more insight into who Superman was and how much Clark still didn't know about his Kryptonian heritage.

The feel of the fourth season was different from the previous three. Not because the writing wasn't as good (for the most part), but because Lois and Clark were different. They were no longer working only partners, but married partners and the dynamic of their relationship changed. It had to.

The weakest episode of the season was "Bob and Carol and Lois and Clark". It was the one episode that I fast forwarded through during the first and only time I watched it.

And while "Lord of the Flys" ("Would you mind? I'm on the clock here.") and "Battleground Earth" are high on my list of favorites along with "Swear to God, This Time We're Not Kidding" and "Lois and Clarks", my most favorite is "Soul Mates".

It was a good season over all but I can't help but wonder whose baby might have been left with Lois and Clark at the end of "The Family Hour".

Zara and Ching come to mind.

As a superman fan I watched the whole series in a week and I am working also. I finally got to see them got married and have kid!!
The whole season was everything I ever asked for.
The only missing thing was the special futures. I belive there could be more to it then just a chronology.

My wife & I both enjoy this series. I like the Superman stuff & she likes the gushy romance junk, er...stuff. It is a nice series overall. I wish it had gone further. Maybe a reunion could happen soon.

I had to have the entire series. Every season was more adventurous than the last!
